Outpatient Department
The open-day or day-care unit addresses people with chronic kinetic problems and good overall health status without the need of hospitalization. Patients who have undergone orthopedic, neurosurgical or other surgeries are usually treated.
The associates’ interdisciplinary team is specifically dedicated to each patient and aims to address and meet his/her own as well as his/her family environment needs. The involvement of multidisciplinary therapists makes the unit of open hospitalization necessary for the smooth reintegration of patients into the social environment and the preservation of their quality of life.
The open-care unit also includes the Department of Cardiology and Respiratory Recovery, equipped with special modern equipment and addresses to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and others who have recently had a bypass surgery, etc. The department operates under the scientific supervision of a cardiologist and a specialized pneumonologist.
