Art Therapy

     Art therapy is a type of therapeutic approach which uses the artistic creation for various aspects such as diagnostic purposes, resolution of emotional conflicts, growth of social dexterities and improvement of the patients’ self-image.

     The Center is one among few in Greece which avails special department of art therapy.  The patients of the Center have participated several times in exhibitions of amateur painters at a local and national level, receiving praise and distinctions. The laboratory operates under the supervision of Urania Velentza.
